Hi everybody! My name is Daniel and The Video Game Journal was my Final Project for my Master’s Program at the Savannah College of Art and Design. It’s my ambition to make it in gaming, and although I’ve tried my hand at Development, I find that I’m far better at writing about games than making them. Currently, I freelance around the internet while trying to get my grubby little on as many games as I can. I’m hoping that the Journal can be a hub of all things gaming while keeping the poisonous politics that the industry has unfortunately fallen into, out of the way. I play and appreciate games that are both big and small whether they are an epic AAA console exclusive or a tiny but addictive mobile game that sucks the hours away.
I’ve been gaming for over 20 years, and I’ve seen a lot of change in games over the years from the perspective of a fan. But now I’m attempting to cross over the threshold from fan to professional, in the hopes that I can be a part of the next generation of gaming journalists.
