TemTem | Videogame Reviews

When I first started playing Temtem, I wasn't immediately captivated. The game lacked several features and the graphics didn't draw me in, despite my interest in creature collecting MMORPGs. Initially, it was hard to identify objectives and my experience felt lukewarm. However, as I delved deeper, the double battle system began to intrigue me—it's something that's only really seen in Pokemon Colosseum and XD, adding an extra layer of complexity. The battles grew challenging and strategic, especially with type advantages and my unique electric insect companion. With guidance from veteran players, I progressed and found the game increasingly enjoyable. From tackling cave dungeons to engaging boss fights and a rewarding hunt for rare Temtem, the experiences became more immersive. The water dojo leader, Sofia, posed a significant challenge, and the MMORPG's 3D style grew on me. The social aspect, with helpful players like Shinigami511 gifting me strong and shiny Temtem, highlighted the community-driven nature of the game. I've warmed up to Temtem and plan to continue my adventure. Stay tuned for the next episode and my end-of-season review!
